Seems like so many folks are ‘called’ to foster care via their religion. Serving orphans. Called to adopt by their higher power. But, we aren’t. We like kids and we feel like we do a pretty good job at guiding them to adulthood. So, we foster. Lots of ups and downs, but also lots of awesome stories. Will use this blog to try to get some of our wisdom (and mistakes!) out there for anyone else wanting to try foster care, especially from a secular point of view.
